Question 12

Why should I shop with Nadex?

Accepted Answer

Nadex.com offers a unique opportunity for traders interested in binary options, knock-outs, and call spreads. As a CFTC-regulated exchange, it provides a safe and secure environment for trading these complex derivatives. The platform allows traders to define their own risk, ensuring that losses are limited to the amount paid to enter the trade. This feature is particularly beneficial for those who want to manage their risk effectively.

One of the standout features of Nadex is its transparent fee structure. Traders pay a fixed $1 fee per contract side, with no hidden charges or broker commissions. This transparency helps traders understand their costs upfront, making it easier to plan their trading strategies.

Nadex also offers a wide variety of tradable markets, including stock indices, commodities, currencies, and macroeconomic events. This diversity allows traders to explore different markets and find opportunities that suit their trading preferences. The platform's educational tools are another significant advantage. With a comprehensive learning center that includes tutorials, webinars, and blog articles, traders can enhance their knowledge and improve their trading skills.

The desktop trading software is user-friendly and provides real-time market data for free. However, the lack of a native mobile app might be a drawback for some traders who prefer trading on the go. Despite this, the web platform is simple and functional, allowing traders to execute their trades efficiently.

Nadex operates as an exchange rather than a broker, which means there are no misaligned incentives. This setup ensures that the exchange's interests align with those of the traders, promoting a fair and honest trading environment. The platform's regulation by the CFTC further adds to its credibility, providing traders with peace of mind.

In summary, Nadex.com is a solid choice for traders who understand the risks associated with binary options and other derivatives. Its transparent fee structure, wide variety of tradable markets, and comprehensive educational tools make it an attractive option for both novice and experienced traders. However, potential users should be aware of the platform's limitations, such as the lack of a mobile app and the focus on derivatives only.

Question 13

What forms of payment does Nadex accept?

Accepted Answer

Nadex.com accepts several forms of payment:

Debit Card: This is the quickest funding method for your Nadex account. There are no fees and funds are available instantly in your Nadex account. Please log in to your Nadex account to initiate a debit card deposit from your personal checking account.
Paper Check: Please make your paper check payable to North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc., and send it by mail to the address provided on their website. Make sure that you include your Nadex username on the check. Please allow five working days from when they receive the check for the funds to clear and be deposited into your account.
ACH (Bank Transfer): You can easily set up an ACH Bank Transfer to Nadex. Please note, even though you will see the Nadex transaction in your account within 1 business day, it may take up to 5 business days for them to receive the funds. For faster deposits, please use a debit card or initiate a wire transfer from your bank. Please make sure you have the necessary funds in your bank account for at least five business days after you initiate the ACH transfer to prevent a transfer reversal and avoid any fees. A transfer reversal happens when a scheduled bank transfer is cancelled for insufficient funds or a variety of other reasons. Please note: there is a 5-business day withdrawal hold on your Nadex account subsequent to funding from a new bank account. After the 5 business days, you will be eligible to make withdrawals back to your bank account.
Wire Transfer (Telegraphic Transfer): Please log in to your Nadex account for instructions on initiating a wire transfer deposit to your Nadex account. Wire transfer deposits are typically processed upon notification from their bank (usually within 24 hours).

For withdrawals, Nadex offers ACH (Bank Transfer) and Wire Transfer (Telegraphic Transfer). Please note that there is a $25.00 processing fee for wire withdrawals. For each debit card used to deposit to Nadex, you may withdraw up to the amount funded, less any previous withdrawals. The maximum limit per withdrawal transaction is $10,000, and up to $50,000 per day. Funds not eligible for withdrawing back to the card can be requested via ACH or Wire Transfer.

Question 14

Nadex Free Shipping Policy

Accepted Answer

Nadex.com is a platform for trading binary options and other financial instruments. As such, it does not deal with physical goods, so the concept of free shipping does not apply.

Regarding their policies, they have a detailed fee structure for their trading services. They charge a $1 trading fee per contract for entry or exit before expiration and a $1 settlement fee per contract for trades that expire in-the-money. However, they do not charge a settlement fee for trades that expire out-of-the-money.

They also have policies regarding account funding. For instance, there is no minimum deposit required to open a live account. The cost to place a trade is always equal to the maximum risk, plus any trade fees.

In terms of account inactivity, if an account is inactive for twelve consecutive months (meaning no trade has been executed during that period), it may be closed and the Nadex membership terminated. However, if the account still holds funds, a rolling, monthly, inactivity fee of $10.00 is charged.

Please note that this information is based on the details available on their website and may be subject to change. It is always a good idea to check the latest information on their official website.

Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Question 15

Return Policy at Nadex

Accepted Answer

Based on the available information, Nadex.com does not seem to have a traditional return policy as it is a platform for trading derivatives, not a retail website. All trades on Nadex have strictly limited risk. The maximum possible profit and loss are displayed on the order ticket before confirming the trade. To open a trade, the maximum risk amount must be in the account as collateral. A trade won't go through if this amount is not in the account. Importantly, a trader can never lose more than this amount on the trade. This policy also means a trader will never get a margin call. If a position is held until expiration and it settles in-the-money, a settlement fee of $1 per contract is charged. If the position is held until expiration and it closes out of the money (zero), no settlement fee is charged. If a valid working order is held all the way to expiration, and once the contract expires, these orders are automatically cancelled by Nadex.
